Un experimento de laboratorio de la Universidad de Florida ilustra las propiedades únicas que Satchur 8 muestra en el suelo. El cilindro A contiene tinte azul y Satchur 8 en el suelo y el cilindro B contiene tinte azul solo en el suelo. Después de 24 horas se puede ver que en el cilindro B el tinte azul se ha lixiviado más profundamente en el suelo, mientras que el cilindro A con Satchur 8 tiene una lixiviación considerablemente menor.
